She has been a Fellow of the Schmidt MacArthur Fellowship on Circular Economy since 2016 while doing Masters at Cranfield University, UK under the Chevening Scholarship. Lijin also has 10 years experience of working in development and public policy research for the Malaysian government and multilateral organisations such as the Economic Planning Unit of Malaysia and the United Nations Development Programme."
