Andre Oliveira is a seasoned global executive with 3 decades of experience and proven track record in driving Agribusiness progress by spearheading innovative business models and contributing to impactful agendas. Proficient in leading large multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams across diverse and complex socio-political and economic landscapes in Asia, China,Europe, South and North America. Known for coaching, mentoring, and fostering diverse talent, cultivating conducive team environments, and embracing challenges with analytical and strategic acumen. Andre is a trained B.Sc. Agronomist, M.Sc. in Plant Protection, holds an MBA in Marketing/Administration and an EMBA in Marketing/Finance.
Andre lived and worked in several countries and until January 2022, he was leading a team of some 700+ employees in APAC/China in Research & Development, Technical Support and Regulatory Affairs, responsible to develop and bring to market world-class technologies and new Crop Protection solutions that help growers to feed our planet.
In his current role as Founder & Director of CENTRIGO™ Farming Ecosystem, Andre spearheaded the conceptualization and establishment of a new Business Venture within Syngenta, a unique phygital Farming Ecosystem concept that fosters the adoption of sustainable Ag practices and help to uplift the profitability of farmers by reducing inefficiencies in the end-to-end production process. CENTRIGO™ provides farmers with access to affordable financing, inputs, modern technologies, and customized services that help to improve yields and quality of their produce, and ultimately connects these farmers to buyers and new business opportunities.
Andre is a core member of the Syngenta Crop Protection Leadership Team in Asia Pacific, and he is a partner and the Managing Director of Bella Minas Coffee, a Farming Company that specializes in Growing, Producing, & Exporting the finest Arabica coffee from Brazil to the world.
