Steve Wong works for Adient as Executive Director & Asia Treasurer, appointed board member and authorized representative of Adient investment holding companies incorporated in Hong Kong and board member of several subsidiaries incorporated in Asia Pacific including China. Adient is the global leader in automotive seating industry operating in 33 countries with approximately 70,000 engaged employees worldwide.
Steve has more than 25 years’ solid experience in senior corporate finance and treasury positions stationed in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the U.S. for MNCs’ global or APAC region headquarters such as Atlas Copco, PPG, Johnson Controls, IPG etc. Prior to rejoining Johnson Controls/ Adient, he was Group Treasurer for Gibson Innovations, a global leader in guitar manufacturing and consumer electronics industry.
Steve received his bachelor’s degree of science in Business Administration- Accounting at University of Central Florida and his master’s degree of science major in Financial Engineering at City University of Hong Kong. Steve is a CFA charter holder; he also holds a CPA certificate issued by Washington State Board of Accountancy. Steve lives in Hong Kong with his wife.
